Hi all,
I'm offering affordable Full Body Motion Capture Animations ( Body + Fingers + Face ) in order to be used within your projects.
I'm using IKinema Orion + Noitom Hi5 VR Gloves + iPhoneX to get true Full Body Capturing, streaming and recording in realtime inside the Unreal Engine 4.
Vive Trackers are used onto the entire body, specifically:
- 1 on the Head
- 1 on the Hips
- 2 on Hands
- 2 on Elbows
- 2 on Feet
A custom 3d printed helmet is used to hold the iPhoneX in place, recording at 60FPS.
The main setup was built mainly to be used within Engineering, Job Training and Security Simulation projects, but since I received lots of requests from game developers, I decided to start offering this as a service.
Pricing is as follow:
15€ per animation ( Body + fingers ), with the possibility of a discount ( 12€ per animation ) if you need 30+ animations.
Facial Animation pricing depends on the performance, so I will need additional informations ( script, a video sample will also help ).
If you want to get the entire UE4 project for yourself in order to use internally, I can also offer the entire project, contact me for a quotation.
The project is currently being used for a variety of different things, such as:
- Virtual YouTuber
- Motion Capture for gaming
- Interactive Movies
- Virtual Reality Full Body Experiences
Here you will find a video example:

Here you will find a sample FBX for you to check ( based on the UE4 Mannequin )

Although the animations are recorded using UE4, they can be exported and retargeted tro Unity charactersd, as swhon below:

Lately I received the Valve Knuckles controllers, so I slightly modified the setup in order to use them for fingers tracking:

Since there's no way to export blend shape animations from UE4, I created a custom skeletal hierarchy and MEL script in order to export the animation from UE4 to Maya, as shown below:

If you have any questions please let me know.
