I find multiplayer games in general (and pvp-centric ones in particular) are lot more fun with a group than randoms. Stuff like Overwatch and HOTS would hold my interest a lot longer if I had friends to play with. Be warned, I am terrible. I have a short fuse and slow reflexes, so really a perfect combination. But when playing with people I enjoy talking to, it's impossible not to have fun.
Also I think that last sentence might be a crime against grammar.
