I have a board game collection numbering over 150 and a dedicated game room in my home. My wife doesn't enjoy the hobby as much as I do, and my little girl is only one year old, so it'll be a while before I'll be able to get her to play anything with me. If you have any interest in playing board games and are looking for a new friend to game with, I just might be your guy. I also have an active Steam account and PS4 account, so I'm usually up for some online gaming or even some offline multiplayer, too, but board games is really my passion. Hit me up if you're interested in getting together. (South St. Louis City area.)
Q1 Are you actively looking to create a video game?
No
Q2 Are you actively looking to create a tabletop game?
Yes "I have one game currently in development, co-created with a friend. Ideas for at least 4 more games are floating around in the ole thought-maker."
Q3 Do you actively play games on 'retro' consoles?
No
Q4 Do you play games competitively?
No
Q5 Are you looking for a group? (guild, clan, etc.)
No "Not currently. I've grouped with Tactical Gaming for almost a year, but I'm currently on leave with them to pursue other things. May reactivate my membership in that clan if the game and the timing is right."
Q6 Do you stream online?
No
Q7 Do you prefer to play with people online or in person?
In person "For board games, I prefer to play in person (as opposed to Tabletop Simulator or Tabletopia). For video games, on Steam I prefer online multiplayer; for PS4, I can go for either, depending on the game."
Q8 Do you compete in gaming tournaments?
No
Q9 Do you prefer multiplayer or singleplayer?
Singleplayer "Multiplayer is fun in some games, less fun in others. I like both types of games, but I also wholeheartedly down-voted the now infamous "sense of pride and accomplishment" EA comment on reddit. If it's gonna be multiplayer tho, I prefer cooperative games."
Q10 Do you want to play games all day every day?
Yes "I wish, but it'll never happen (I have work and a kid, so there's always going to be something or someone keeping me from this dream.)"
