Introduction

Looking for friends!

I've played video games as ahobby since I was 10 years old. Now I live with my girlfriend and we have to work hard, so we don't have a lot of free time. But when I do, I really miss chatting and sharing gaming experiences.
Here in Brazil, gamers are usually more focused on competitive gaming (and very toxic at that), specially sports and fps. And while I do appreciate the ocasional "headshot" and such, I'm more of an rpg and storydriven kinda of guy, so it's hard to talk about it. It just so happens that my girl is more of a plataformer and puzzle game kind of player and doesn't speak english which doesn't help on that front either.
Most of my rl friends are married or distant, and so are my relatives so here I am.
I play games mainly to have fun, to have new experiences and gain insight and/or inspiration. With that, even though I like story a lot I also value gameplay and a variaty of styles. It's easier for me to say what I DON'T like, sports games for instance (with the exception of racing games and games that have a spin on the genre like "mario kart" or "disc jam" ).
I'm also very fond of ocasional adrenaline rushes like fighting games. Contrary to most people I'm very resistant to the famous "salt" and I don't mind losing at all, so long as I learn something new or the fight is "toe to toe".
With all that being said, I've known and played a LOT of games but I don't in any excell one of them. Usually I compensate with earnest effort.
As for trophies/achievs, I consider them a small incentive to extend play time of boring games/games for plataforms with fewer options at said time.
