Here's what it's going to take:

Stage 1: Nat Pagle Has a Tale to Tell

• Level your Fishing skill to 300
• Queue up for Alterac Valley

• Kill and loot enemy players until you get [Nat Pagle's Guide to Extreme Anglin']
• Keep this in your inventory

Stage 2: The Grand Tournament

• Compete in the Stranglethron Vale Fishing Tournament
• You need to collect the fishing pole, either hat, boots, and fishing line from the fishing tournament

• Fish 40 [Speckled Tastyfish] before anyone else and turn them in to in Booty Bay
• Tip: Setting your Hearthstone to Booty Bay's Innkeeper makes turn-in faster

• Complete [Master Angler] and select [Arcanite Fishing Pole] as your reward

• During the fishing tournament, fish either [Keefer's Angelfish] or [Pale Ghoulfish] (you only need one)

• Collect either [Lucky Fishing Hat] or [Worn Fishing Hat] as your reward

• Fish [Brownell's Blue Striped Racer] and [Dezian Queenfish]

• Collect [Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots] and [High Test Eternium Fishing Line] as your rewards
• Apply [High Test Eternium Fishing Line] to your [Arcanite Fishing Pole]

• Finally, have an enchanter add Enchant Gloves - Fishing to gloves of your choice

Stage 3: A New Reel

• In Zul'Gurub, use the Battered Tackle Box and accept the quest [Nat's Measuring Tape]

• Return [Nat's Measuring Tape] to Nat Pagle in Dustwallow Marsh

• Purchase 5 [Mudskunk Lure] from Nat Pagle (some are extras just in case)
• Gather a raid of 20 players
• Collect 5 [Zulian Mudskunk] in Zul'Gurub
• On the shore behind the central temple in Zul'Gurub, use the Mudskunk Lure to summon Gahz'ranka

• Defeat Gahz'ranka, and loot [Nat Pagle's Broken Reel]
• The Reel has a 17% chance to drop
• On average, the Reel will drop within 4 attempts, or 4 weeks
